Motorcycling

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar.
Welcome to Mongolia! You will arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital, where your guide and driver will meet at the airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel which is located in the center of the city.

Day 2. Arrive at Zavkhan province.
After a breakfast at your hotel, we will catch a flight to Uliastai town with Donoi airport (27 km away from town). Once we arrive at Uliastai airport, your bikes will be ready for ride to your next destination. We drive about 3 hours to reach our base camp for next three days.

Day 3. Mukhart and back to base camp.
After breakfast, we start our journey to Mukhart via Senjit rock. Today we will ride over Ikh Khairkhan Mountain, one of the loftiest peaks in the area. Reaching the top of the mountain, you will see the Senjit rock (Arch rock) and we will have picnic lunch nearby. After lunch, we continue our drive to Mukhart oasis. The Mukhart oasis is irrigated by a natural spring under the big sand dunes.

Day 4: Bugat area and Gol mod.
Today we ride through sand dunes. When we ride through sand dunes, we will pass by water pools and it has a very scenic view. Once we drive past the area, we have good solid steppe where you can speed up your bike. After lunch, we will drive through Gol mod, which is a larch forested area with sand dunes.

Day 5: Day ride around lake area.
Our destination for today is Khar Lake, one of the fresh and most beautiful lakes in Mongolia. It is sandwiched between sand dunes and mountains. Today is our fun day of riding. The terrain is smooth and a little bit up and downhill, so it gives a perfect chance to show off your skill of ride. Also, you can ride your motorbike through sand dunes and over mountains.

Day 6: Drive to Otgontenger National Park area.
This morning, we will drive to Uliastai town which is capital of Zavkhan province. Once we arrive in town, we will have lunch at local restaurant. After a short tour in the town, we continue to drive along the beautiful Bogd valley (wide long valley) and along the crystal clear Bogd River. After pitching our tents and other facilities we will have bonfire next to River side.

Day 7 and 8: Bogd River.
These two days, we will explore Bogd River. We will have picnic lunch with us and ride through Khangai mountains and Bodg valley This green valley is also summer place of nomadic families. On our short break during the riding, we can visit nomadic family and have a tea break with them. In the evenings, we will enjoy our sunset dinner.

Day 9: Otgontenger Mt. (Hiking day)
Today, after a short drive upstream, we will begin trekking through the Otgontenger National Park area. The park has a high-altitude mountains, pristine fresh Rivers and Lakes. This is a spectacular walk through a national park that most people don’t even know exists.

Day 10: Back to Civilization.
After break camp, we will drive to Uliastai town. After a few breaks along the way to take in scenic vistas, we shall arrive in Ulaistai afternoon. After check in at the hotel we will take hiking tour around the town.

Day 11. Flight back to UB.
After having a breakfast, you will be transferred to Donoi airport for your flight to UB. Once you are in UB, we have optional shopping – everyone loves Mongolia’s cashmere products! – before a farewell dinner.

Day 12: Departure.
After having a breakfast in the hotel we will be transferred to Chinggis Khaan international airport for departure (B)
